I
have been collecting guitars all my life - I still own and
occasionally play the Nylon String Acoustic guitar my parents
bought for me when I was about 13 years old. I am fascinated by
the history and technical development of the electric guitar.
This page will have pictures and detailed information about each
of the more interesting guitars in my collection. The collection
currently stands at over 50 Guitars ranging from a 1957
Stratocaster Hard tail to the various incarnations of the Strat
over the years and many other designs and manufactures in
between.
I will not be putting up pictures and information too frequently
as the guitars are kept in a secure storage facility so it takes
time to get them to photograph etc.

history, James L. D'Aquisto, started his career in
arch-top guitar building at the age of 17 at John
D'Angelico's studio. He founded his own D'Aquisto
brand after the passing of John D'Angelico and is
known to have created some of the best-sounding,
most sought after arch-top guitars available.

Teuffel Birdfish: The body
consists of the two tone bars which are screwed on both
central elements "bird" and "fish". The neck is bolted
onto the upper element "bird" while the lower "fish"
carries the control box in which you find the guitar
electronics. A rail between "bird" and "fish" holds the
slideable pickups. All three pickups can be exchanged
with each other within seconds..
